Welcome to the Biotech Club of Notre Dame! Founded in May 2023 by Maeve Murdock, the Biotech Club is currently in its third year of operations. President John Blount and Vice-President Siadbh Stack currently lead the club. Dr. Michael McConnell, co-founder of a Spanish biotech company (Vaxdyn), continues to advise the Biotech Club.
Over two years, the Biotech Club has grown to involve 100+ student members of BiotechND and 400+ students who have opted to stay informed on club events and activities. We are constantly building our professional network and are sincerely grateful to alums who have offered to share their wisdom with ND students. We hope to make Notre Dame a biotech powerhouse in the future. Help us join the MITs and Stanfords in this space!
This donation page is specifically to fundraise for a future career trek to Boston, either this upcoming spring or next fall. We already trek to Chicago every year and want to add another trek to our repertoire. We have plenty of alumni in Boston and could curate an awesome multi-day experience given adequate funding.
